Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — used for your account and the sign-in links we email you. It is the only identifier we require.
• Account and pass status — whether your access is active, what kind of pass or plan you have, and when you accepted the Terms.
• Feedback you submit — bug reports and data corrections, with the page or well they refer to.
• Device location, only when you ask— the “Near me” and directions features read your GPS position when you tap them. Your coordinates are used to run that one search or to open your maps app, and are not stored as a location history and never sold or shared for advertising.
• Basic technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamps) for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

We do not run ads, we do not use tracking or advertising cookies (only the session cookies that keep you signed in), and we do not sell or share your personal information — including precise location — with anyone for marketing.

Who processes data for us

SuperOS runs on infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (sign-in emails), and Upstash (rate limiting). When the map loads, your browser requests map tiles directly from OpenFreeMap and the U.S. Geological Survey, which see your IP address like any website you visit. If you open directions, your maps app (Google or Apple) handles that navigation under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account exists and basic logs for a short operational window. To delete your account and associated personal data, email support@superos.tech from your account address and we will action it within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

• Location access is optional — the map works without it; deny the permission and the “Near me” button simply won’t.
• You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data at the address above. We honor applicable state privacy rights (including Texas and California residents’ rights) without discrimination.
• We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track you across other sites in the first place.

Audience

SuperOS is built for working oil and gas professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
